Pos Malaysia Suspends Renewal of Road Tax Until End of March 2021

Many find the convenience of paying their bills and renewing the documents of their private vehicles at the post office. Pos Malaysia has recently announced to suspend the renewal of Road Tax at all post offices nationwide until 31 March 2021.

No Renewal of Road Tax at Pos Malaysia Until 31st of March 2021:

According to the statement from Pos Malaysia, the renewal of Road Tax for private vehicles are temporarily suspended from 23 February until 31 March 2021. This is as instructed by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ).

However, other services including driving license and vehicle insurance renewal are still available. For those of you who wish to renew your road tax, you may do it at other online portals.

Licensed drivers may still operate their vehicles with a valid vehicle insurance certificate (e-cover note). This was announced by the Ministry of Transport under road tax and driver license renewal exemption for MCO 2.0.
