    1. Try Noorie cafe..at Hutton Lane..nearby amoy lane.simple cafe..nice clean environment..good food and simole selection of noodles..eggs on toast..laksa plus pack nasi lemak.7am till 3pm except sunday.tried tasting today.its halal .

  1. Looking for tomyam Maggie mee? Can try out at Momo Delights No. 126, Jalan Transfer, 10050 Georgetown, Pg. Adjacent to Maliia Bakery. Open from 8.30am – 7.00pm. Also serve Breakfast, Set rice, Fried rice, Fried noodles, Western food and Spaghetti. Food are delicious and price are reasonable. Must try.

  2. excuse me toh soon café is not at all worth the money and time. the so-called “traditional” charcoal-toasted bread is nothing but disappointment. they are stingy on spreading butter and kaya and the price of a piece of bread is higher than the price of toasts in kl. it is totally not worth the trip. DO NOT be fooled by their vintage looks and long lines. the long lines only consist of tourists who just line up because “there are so many people here”

    1. Very true..not worth to q up. Waited more than an hour for the bread. Finished up our coffee and ate nasi lemak. At last, the bread wasn’t spread with enough kaya and butter.

  3. This is definitely a review for tourists …. some of the establishments mentioned here (won’t name names .. Penangites already know) are way over-rated. I bet the reviewer didn’t even try all the food …

  4. Toh Soon should be blacklisted due to their ultra lousy toasted bread which I could make a better one myself. You can thank me later for avoiding that place and its long queue. 😀
