1. Explore One Million Books At BookXcess

Can you count all the books in BookXcess Gurney Paragon? Probably not, ’cause it houses more than one million books! Situated on the 7th and 8th floor of Gurney Paragon Mall, it is the biggest bookstore in the northern region. Hands down, it is going to make your friends and family’s jaw drop! The Habitat is really exciting as you can be one with nature. Go for a guided zip lining and learn everything flora and fauna in between. Highly recommended if you’re up for some adventure!

3. Visit The Scenic Penang Floating Mosque

Visiting Penang Floating Mosque during Raya season is a must. Penang Floating Mosque is definitely one of the most beautiful mosques we have in Penang. Situated in between Tanjung Bungah, and Batu Ferringhi, the brightly coloured building is very hard to miss. You will love it when you see it! If you would like to visit the mosque, please do remember to dress conservatively.

4. Explore Cubopark, One Of A Kind Container Mall

Cubopark is one of the latest addition to the nightlife in Penang. Nestled in Jalan Tanjong Tokong, Cubopark features a variety of coffee shops, dessert cafes, and retails. There are many things to see, and very little parking space. So, if you would like to visit one of the coolest place in Penang, you can consider taking Grab, or even public transport. 5. Check Out Georgetown At Rainbow Skywalk

We are all the way up! Apart from catching the views of Air Itam at Penang Hill, you can do the same for Georgetown here. Rainbow Skywalk is located on the rooftop of the iconic KOMTAR. It features glass flooring! Yes, you can literally look down and see tiny cars moving. It is definitely an unforgettable experience with your loved ones. Tickets are required for Rainbow Skywalk.

6. Grab Limited Edition Raya Cakes At IKEA Batu Kawan

The crowd at IKEA Batu Kawan has been absolutely crazy since the opening in February. However, we think that it is getting better. IKEA has just released three brand new cakes in conjunction with Raya. The cakes feature local flavours including ondeh-ondeh and pulut hitam. So, if you’re looking for something elevate your rumah terbuka, this is something that you can bring home!

7. Go For A Stroll At Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens is a good place to bring your out-of-town friends and family to because of a) it is a good place to have a stroll and start small conversations, b) fresh air everywhere, and c) it is the perfect place to exercise for your next rumah terbuka. If you have kids with you, opt for Youth Park. They will love the playground!

There are many brands to look forward to including Royaltea, and The Alley. One of the most highly anticipated Taiwan brand, Xing Fu Tang, has also opened its door in late May. The queue was extremely crazy as customers need to wait for more than an hour to order!

10. Eat The Best Durians At Balik Pulau
