Closer to home in Penang, Tropical Spice Garden is currently facing permanent closure after 18 months of uncertainty. Read on to find out how you can lend a helping hand.
Tropical Spice Garden Penang Faces Permanent Closure
Tropical Spice Garden is nestled along the northeastern coast of Penang island. Here, it’s a biodiverse living museum of spices and tropical plants. Additionally, the 5 landscaped acres of the garden is a treasure trove of more than 500 living specimens of lush and exotic flora from around the world. This used to be a must-visit spot for tourists and a weekend getaway with nature for locals.

However, throughout MCO, Tropical Spice Garden was forced to face temporary closure. Hence, the owner of TSG, Katherine Joan Chua has come forward in a heartfelt video sharing that the place is currently facing permanent closure.

“Without visitors who are our lifeblood-the Garden simply cannot survive, ” she said.
