1- George Town Festival 2017
“George Town Festival is growing into a major Asian arts event” (International New York Times). First on our list is an annual, month-long celebration; George Town Festival 2017. Transforming the city as a global stage to commemorate arts, culture, heritage and community through hundreds of unique events each year. This one is so not to be missed out. It’s also one of the best Penang events in recent years.

2- Butterworth Fringe Festival 2017
Next, Butterworth Fringe Festival 2017 is back for its third year and this time around with even more superb happening street events open for everyone. The aim of the festival is “to promote the development of both local and international art and culture by putting the spotlight on community and spaces.” (BFF 2017)
