Good day foodie friends! With the CMCO now further extended for another month, this means that we need more recipes to keep us going. If some of you are already back in the office, then take this recipe as a way for you to have a meal at home without risking your health while dining in at restaurants. So, let’s go ahead and try out this Prosperity Burger recipe, just like the ones we love from McDonald’s!
Recreate Lip-Smacking McDonald’s Prosperity Burger At Home
Prosperity Burger from McDonald’s is a rare gem that is only back on the menu annually, during Chinese New Year. Together with its best companion, the Twister Fries, this combo is one that leaves Malaysians hooked. Considering its scarcity on the menu, we’ve found a recipe that lets you recreate Prosperity Burger. When you’re ready, let’s get started.
- Gardenia Bread (Sandwich)
- Ramly Minced Beef/Chicken Patty
- Large Onion (1/2, diced into cubes)
- Holland Onion (sliced)
- Wheat Flour (2 tbsp)
- Water (1 glass)
- Black Pepper (powder and crushed)
- Butter (2 tbsp)
- Oyster Sauce (2 tbsp)
- Sweet Soy Sauce (1 tbsp)
Bread and Patty
Step 1: Spread some butter on the bread and pan-fry them
Step 2: Roll the minced meat until it forms the shape of a sandwich and then fry the patties.
Step 1: In a pan, heat up 2 tbsp of butter and add in wheat flour then mix until they turn brown-gold
Step 2: Add in water, diced large onion, black pepper, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, and salt until it has a thick consistency.
Step 3: Finally, dip the patties into the sauce and sandwich them in between 2 pieces of bread. Add on some sliced Holland onions.
