However, among the abundance of “famous” Nasi Kandar stalls, lies a 60-year-old hidden gem in a Chinese coffee shop called Nasi Kandar Sulaiman.
Nasi Kandar Sulaiman Started In 1960 And Is Now Run By The 4th Generation
This stall opens daily at 6:30AM – 2:30PM, and queues can be seen as early as they open. It’s a favourite spot for early risers to get a delicious plate of Nasi Kandar before heading to work.
Nasi Campur Is A Must Try Here
With many varieties of dishes to choose from, we recommend getting the curry fish, ayam masak kicap and fried onions! Make sure you get the campur or mixed curry when you eat here – the combination of steaming white rice drenched in mixed curries is amazing. Apart from the delicious food, what makes this place stand out is the expressive and passionate owner; the way he plates your Nasi Kandar is a show in itself.
Get Here Early When It’s Freshly Cooked
The best time to get here is early in the morning! If you do come later in the afternoon, many dishes will run out. So, gather your friends and family and enjoy the rich history this place has to offer.
