You’ll be greeted by a Korean manager jovially and he will handle your seating in a short while. Do expect for enthusiast crowd especially at lunch and dinner hours. It’s highly recommended to make reservation if you don’t want to queue.

In addition, you can choose to dine alfresco or indoor, depending on your preferences.

KyoChon FOOD

KyoChon 1991’s menu has three promises: 1.) To never, ever serve fast food, 2.) To use 100% natural ingredients and 3.) To use only the freshest and healthiest chickens.

Okay, let’s get thing straight, we got a little upset during our visit because almost everything we want to try such as Whole Chicken & Dakganjeong were out-of-stock, and that time was only 7PM. Another snag was the service crews and ordering system were hit the skids, our soy garlic drumstick wasn’t served after multiple reminders. So, we decided to cancel it. In the end, we only tried their Red Pepper Series 4 pcs (RM22.90) and Kimchi Fried Rice with Egg (RM11.90) for 6 pax.

Our review of its food. Speaking about its Red Pepper Chicken, we loved that kick the spiciness gave. It’s crunchy outside and the meat is tender, mashittda! Though the chicken is really tiny, we still that it’s something special and worth a try! On the other hands, the Kimchi Fried Rice was just okay, taste wasn’t inspiring, you can skip this one, in our opinion.

KyoChon IN SHORT

This visit is rather disappointing mainly because of the order system failure. Well, it’s understandable as KyoChon is just newly opened and We think that their crews need some times to cope with the enthusiast crowds. We might revisiting them to try their Whole Chicken and Dakganjeong simply because it looks so appetizing. Stay tuned for our next review!
