Here’s a look at Kazumasa’s Chef’s Special Omakase:

Appetizer + Sashimi

First up, we have the appetizer. Our appetizer comes with Mozuku Seaweed, Sesame Tofu, and Roast Duck with Caviar. The Sesame Tofu is lip-smacking as it melts in your mouth. Instead of the usual gravy, Chef Ron skilfully turns it into a layer of jelly atop the tofu.

For the Sashimi, we had the Lobster Sashimi that’s prepared right in front of us. It’s juicy, tender, and lip-smackingly irresistible.

Fresh Uni + Chawan Mushi

Uni lovers, this next dish is for you. Chef Ron elevates the Chawan Mushi by combining it with fresh Uni sourced from Japan, scallops, and truffle paste.

Chef Special Sushi (7pcs)

Now, onto the highlight of this Omakase, the Chef Special Sushi. For this Omakase menu, there are 7 pieces of sushi, each pressed with wasabi and in-house sushi rice. Kazumasa has a rather unique sushi rice that’s prepared using traditional-aged red vinegar which adds a light colour to the rice. And each piece of sushi isn’t just pleasing to the palates but it’s also a sight to behold.

House Specialty Hot Dish

Midway through 4 servings of Sushi, Chef Ron will put our tastebud to rest by serving their house specialty hot dish-Wagyu Beef. This dish is a halftime show stopper as the Wagyu beef is seared to perfection with the right proportion of melt-in-your-mouth fat.

Temaki

For the Temaki, witness Chef Ron’s skills when he combines succulent King Crab Meat with in-house sushi rice. The most intriguing part is the process, pieces of King Crab meat are first arranged on a cling wrap before adding a portion of sushi rice on top. Then, it’s wrapped up until it forms a ball of King Crab Meat Temaki.

Dessert

End your meal on a sweet note with Kazumasa’s dessert with seasonal fruits like Japanese melon. The presentation exquisitely signals a great end to a satisfying meal.
