With more relaxations being announced for fully vaccinated individuals, we are all adapting to a new normal once again. However, despite all these relaxations, one thing we are constantly reminded of is to always comply with the SOPs. Hameediyah, a famous Nasi Kandar restaurant in Penang has been fined RM10,000 for breaching SOPs.
Hameediyah Restaurant Fined RM10,000 For Breaching SOPs

According to the compound issued, the restaurant owner had failed to ensure that his employees scan the MySejahtera QR code. It is mandatory for all employees and patrons of a restaurant to check-in via scanning the QR code on the MySejahtera app.
On a side note, Hameediyah is the oldest Nasi Kandar restaurant in Malaysia and was even awarded this title in Malaysia’s Guinness Book of Records.
