As Malaysians, what is that one thing that we all grew up with? At the back of one’s mind, we could easily list out more than one. Our neighbourhood Roti Man, iced gems biscuits, and of course, the legendary MILO truck during our schooling days. If you’ve been missing the good old MILO truck days, then good news because we’ve spotted one right here at George Town, Penang.
Nostalgic MILO Truck Right Here In Penang
Remember how as kids during our schooling years, one of the most exciting events that would keep us on our toes is when there is a MILO truck? And we can all unanimously agree that the ones from a MILO truck taste different from the ones we make at home. Yet, we could not pinpoint the reason why.
Hitting close to our childhood nostalgia, this MILO truck that was spotted at George Town resembles the ones we grew up with. It has the same MILO green colour and a green umbrella with the words MILO on it.
The MILO truck vendor, known as Wan has been selling cups of MILO from his truck for 2 years and it all started during the MCO days. Wan even mentioned that “all Malaysians grow up drinking MILO and it is an avid reminder of the nostalgic schooling days.”
