Make Your Own Kuih Bahulu From Home
Okay, so everyone knows what Kuih Bahulu is right? It’s that fluffy and soft cake that a majority of us must have had when we were kids. In the past, our mums or grandmothers would get them from the night markets or perhaps, bakeries. Is it just us, or is Kuih Bahulu almost a rare scarcity nowadays?
If you’ve been wanting a taste of childhood nostalgia, then we’re here to help because you can make your own Kuih Bahulu from home! With only 3 main ingredients and a sandwich maker, you’ll be on your way to making one of the fluffiest Kuih Bahulu ever.
Ingredients
1 cup of plain flour
1 cup of sugar (or less depending on your preferred level of sweetness)
3 eggs
Step 1: Whip or mix the eggs and sugar until they become fluffy
Step 2: Add in flour and mix all the ingredients well
Step 3: Heat up sandwich maker, and brush a thin layer of oil on it
Step 4: Pour in the mixture into the sandwich maker
Step 5: Wait for around 5-7 minutes until the batter turns golden brown
And with such a simple list of ingredients as well as steps, there’s no reason not to try this recipe out. It might very well be the easiest baking you can ever find out there. Be it for breakfast, or tea-time snack, there’s nothing like a piece of fluffy Kuih Bahulu to take you down memory lane.

My 3 ing bahulu was not fluffy at all. It was hard. I followed the recipe. In fact the bottom part was burnt n top not so cooked
