As sweet as the name of the shop, Tian MiMi Dessert Shop, this spot might just be your next favourite place for some toothsome desserts. Expect to find both cold and hot desserts here like the creamy gandum, bee koh moi, sago with sweet potato topped with fresh santan and also the regreshing ai yu jelly. Drop by to for some cooling treats today!

Despite the limited choices in the menu, from the preparation to the presentation of their desserts are absolutely wonderful! One dessert that really caught our attention is none other than their purple potato sago that has a striking colour that made it stood out from the rest. Fret not, all the ingredients used are natural and beneficial to the body!

Killer when it comes to sago and santan based desserts, do try out their mango pomelo sago and sago gula melaka which are always on the popular list. Not forgetting their tang yuen that comes in a handful of flavours such as pandan with ginger, gula melaka with ginger and also the ones with black sesame as fillings!

A fairly new addition to the block, drop by to welcome them to the hood and try out their awesome desserts and snacks! Totally recommended to order their finger-licking-good snacks like the spring roll and curry fish balls to go with their desserts. So, what else should you order? Opt for their yam + coconut dessert that is both sweet and yummy to the taste bud!

Strolling along the streets of Weld Quay, you’ll stumble upon this hidden gem occupied mostly by tourists. Don’t be turned off by the waves of tourists though because you might just miss out on a good tong sui spot. Offering a wide range of desserts priced below RM6, their bee koh moi only costs RM2.50! CHEAP LEH, CAN WE PLEASE HAVE LIKE 5 BOWLS FOR EACH PERSON!

7. Ding Xiang Tong Sui

Started originally as a biscuit house, one corner of the place has now been converted into a Tong Sui corner. They offer a variety of classic Chinese desserts with some of the most-in options like taro balls, pudding and peach gum. If you’re up for it, do drive in for a quick desserts fix!

8. Mommy Irene

To find them, make your way to Farlim, they’re located next to the pasar malam happening every Wednesday in the neighbourhood. Most of their customers are regulars from the area coming in to have a bowl of their signature Durian Mung Bean dessert. Not a fan of durian? Then instead, order their beancurd sheet barley dessert!
