You Can Now Earn Interest from eWallet With The NEW Touch ‘n Go Go+ Feature

Touch ‘n Go might have just launched a new feature today (March 29), but we’ve already seen quite a number of information circulating the Internet. You might have noticed a new icon next to the “transfer” icon in the eWallet app. That’s right, the app has just launched a new investment feature, and we’re here to break down what the Touch ‘n Go Go+ feature is all about.

Earn Interest From Your eWallet Balance With The NEW Touch ‘n Go GO+ Feature:

For those of you who are looking for a low-risk investment, this might be a good start. The new Touch ‘n Go Go+ feature is a market fund managed by Principal Asset Management Berhad (“Principal Malaysia”). It’s basically a joint venture between US-based Principal Financial Group and CIMB Group Holdings Berhad.

So what’s good about this feature? It allows you to use your TNG eWallet credit to invest and earn returns in a low-risk form. The minimum amount to invest is only RM10. Although the current return rate is only at 1.39% p.a (the time of our screenshot), they’re calculated on a daily basis and credited into the user’s account the next day.

The best part is, you can cash out the amount of investment anytime, without any cash-out fee, either to your TNG eWallet (instantly) or a registered bank account (1 working day).

So how do you use the feature? Easy, just click on the Touch ‘n Go Go+ feature, update your personal information and decide how much money you would like to put into your Go+ account. You can top up a maximum of RM5,000 per day directly from eWallet or up to RM9,500 via FPX.

If your eWallet is running low on balance to make payments, you can also use your Go+ balance for purchases. Meaning the money that you put into as investment could also act as a wallet for SOS.

Invest at Your Own Risk:

We are by no means professionals, but just to update you guys on a cool feature. The balance in the Go+ account should not be treated as E-money, deposit; and is neither capital guaranteed nor capital protected by PIDM.

Also, in order to activate the Touch ‘n GO Go+ feature, you’ll have to be a Malaysian aged 18 and above. Not to mention having a verified TNG eWallet account. Have you tried out the new feature? Let us know in the comments and don’t forget to share this new update to your friends. That’s all, take care and buh bye!
