2. Rabbit’s Tale
If you really want to fall down the rabbit hole, then hop aboard this all-new Alice In Wonderland themed bar in Penang! This new and swanky nightclub made Pengkalan Weld their home. It might seem like the place is just another deep Valley dive bar, but stepping inside is like, well, going through the looking glass. From the black-and-white checkered flooring to the grinning Cheshire Cat mural, the Rabbit Hole is almost entirely Alice in Wonderland-themed.

3. Smojo Fried Chicken
Penang’s love affair with fried chicken has certainly flourished over the years. And thanks to the American style fried chicken served here, this aptly named eatery surely lives up to its name. Their chickens are top notch, totally authentic. It’s is so addictive that you would polish off half of the portion in no time. We definitely don’t fancy the almost-guaranteed super long queue at this stall. But trust me, all is worth the wait.

4. Raku Ichi Sushi
We’re not sure if noodle soup actually has any healing properties but it sure feels like it if you get a good one. At Raku Ichi Sushi, they serve really good ramen which is what we call the real comfort food. Each bowl is ingredient packed and ingredient-focused. Their pork broth is a luxuriously creamy affair, wrapped around meat slow cooked to a gloriously buttery endpoint.
