10. Be Amazed By The Colourful Lights At Kek Lok Si Temple

The Kek Lok Si Temple is a very popular tourist spot in Penang. Also known as the Temple of Supreme Bliss, the ten-acre establishment’s most popular attraction is the Pagoda of Rama VI. This is also where you will see over 10,000 Buddha statues made from alabaster and bronze. On most days the temple will close at 5.30 PM, however, during the Chinese New Year celebration, the temple will extend its closing time to after 10 PM, giving visitors the chance to enjoy walking around artistic and colourful light decorations.
