For a change, we’ve spotted yet another humble stall that makes cooling Ais Kacang. Head on over to Batu Lanchang Market Food Court and look for Tony Ais Kacang.
Tony prepares each bowl of Ais Kacang by firstly adding thinly-shaved ice, 2 different types of syrup, chunky red beans, and a drizzle of condensed milk. Then, the star of this icy cool dessert is completed with a scoop of ice cream.
But you’re not just getting regular vanilla ice cream like other stalls, Tony adds a twist to it by adding peanut butter ice cream. So what you’ll get is a spoon of melt-in-your-mouth shaved ice that’s sweet and the perfect pair with creamy peanut butter ice cream.
Aside from Ais Kacang, Tony also serves a delicious bowl of Cendol. For the Cendol, it starts off with shaved ice and coconut milk, rich Gula Melaka drizzle, red beans, and rice flour jelly.
