This Korean Chef Shows People How He Prepares His Korean Instant Noodle

Believe it or not, you can actually make your Ramyun (Korean instant noodles) tastes better! Although it’s true that you can just boil everything and eat it as is, there are other ingredients that you can add in the broth to elevate its taste. And here’s how this Korean Chef suggests us to do it.

Chef Chris Cho Styled Ramyun

If you have never heard of him before, Chef Chris Cho is a sensational chef that rise in popularity during the pandemic thanks to his recipe and mukbang videos in TikTok and Youtube. He is known to post Korean food recipes and basic step-by-step tutorials to help people improve their cooking skills. Plus, his explosive personality makes his videos a lot more upbeat and fun to watch. Here’s how he usually cook his Ramyun:

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of Shin Ramyun
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp chili flakes
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • Kimchi for sides

Steps:

  1. Pour water into a small pot and bring it to boil.
  2. Put in all of the ingredients from the packet of Shin Ramyun (don’t break off the dry noodles).
  3. Throw in the garlic, chili flakes, and black pepper.
  4. Boil it for 7 minutes.
  5. Add in the egg.
  6. Enjoy your masterpiece with a side of kimchi (or at least don’t let the chef catch you eating Ramyun without the kimchi).
