  1. aiya better dont put la, nobody will able to see it, because all penang high rise building blocking the nice view, especially seaviews occupied by new landed cost RM 25,000,000 super luxary bungallow . soon penang island will connect to butterworth very soon, then penang lang dont have to cross bridge anymore

    1. Lol. True. The sky is the limit when it comes to our high rise, like out of Independence Day movie. No need follow Hollywood sign. Malu la.

  3. No need lah. Why follow others? People know Penang when people see Penang. No need unsightly behemoth signboards protruding our lush hills. Later got youngsters go climb the signboards then ask police to tangkap. Police got other important job to do lah. No need. No need. Waste money.

  4. Not so original idea. Ipoh has it a long time ago. And it’s true that you can’t see it for all the tall buildings on the island. Having said that, if we must have such a sign, how about putting it on either one or both of the bridges? That would make mainland Penang feel more inclusive.
