Sushi House Has Finally Made Its Appearance In Penang

Sushi House is a popular sushi restaurant chain originated from Johor. Sushi House is founded by a chef who has over 12 years of experience in the culinary industry. Leo worked in USA and Singapore before he decided to open up Sushi House on September 2016. Although Penangites might be unfamiliar with it yet, there are already 10 branches in Malaysia!

Located at Tropicana 218 Macalister, Sushi House gives an amazingly wide choice of Muslim-friendly sushi and Japanese cuisines with cozy ambiance on the inside. The warm light that shines through the glass facade is all you need for a comfortable meal.

Here at Sushi House, you won’t find a sushi conveyor belt here if you’re expecting one. All sushi is prepared freshly upon requested orders. This is to ensure optimal quality and freshness of the sushi.  Plus, they only use Japanese premium short-grain rice that is MSG-free and rich in calcium & iron, so everyone can enjoy without having second thoughts. Quick tips: You can request for brown-rice-made sushi if you’re into a healthy lifestyle!

Enjoy Assorted Sushi & Sashimi Served in A Giant Boat

You will be blown away by their giant tiered Sushi Boats! That’s right, your sushi will be delicately served on a boat instead of a plate, which makes having sushi an even more pleasant experience than it already is. Perfect for your friends family gatherings!

How do you get your sushi served in a boat? Well, all you need to do is fulfill the minimum order as stated below. They have 2 sizes of boats: medium (right in photo) and large (left in photo).

Medium Boat: Min 12 pcs of sushi & above
Large Boat (Ship): Min 20 pcs of sushi & above

With all their sushi affordably priced from RM2 onwards, it’s safe to say you can have your own medium-sized sushi boat from just RM12! Please note that the waiting time will be longer depending on the number of orders.

If you’re a fan of sashimi, you can enjoy feasting on Norwegian Salmon, freshly air-flown to the outlet. If you’re looking for something heavy, foodies, we’ll give you some head ups on what to order at Sushi House. Stay with us!
