Me Melon Is Opening on 24th May 2019
Good news, you don’t need to go all the way to Japan to enjoy Kakigori and Shibuya Toasts. If you have never heard about them before, Kakigori is a Japanese style of ais kacang, made with shaved ice and flavoured syrup! As for Shibuya Toasts, they are the fluffiest toasts you will ever eat. It is often served with scoops of ice-cream, fruits, and other toppings. Sounds yum, right?
You can get it all at this brand new cafe, Me Melon, located on the mainland. We believe that it is a franchise of a store with the same name from Thailand. The store boasts very Instagram-worthy Kakigoris. It is perfectly shaped, with flavoured syrup oozing down aesthetically. Me Melon’s Kakigoris are often served with a small dessert on the side.
Just like their Strawberry Cheese Cake Kakigori, it comes with a tiny slice of strawberry cheesecake. Super cute! It goes the same with their Me Melon Kakigori as it is served with a fresh slice of cantaloupe. Not into Kakigori? Try out their Shibuya Toast, the fluffy toast is served with a generous amount of ice-cream, and also cream. It’s like having desserts for breakfast!
Kakigori Are Perfect For Raining Season
We hope that we are not weird ’cause we are into eating cold desserts during raining season. The fact that it doesn’t melt that fast makes us really happy. How about you?
