Unlike most brands that are originated from Taiwan, The Monarch Tea is actually a homegrown bubble tea brand that made its debut in April 2019. It has several outlets in the southern side of Peninsular Malaysia that are located at Johor and Melaka. Following one successful opening after another, The Monarch Tea is finally opening its first-ever outlet in the heart of Penang!
That’s right, the Taiwanese-inspired bubble tea chain with the dragon logo, The Monarch Tea is here to conquer the bubble tea industry. The newest outlet will be strategically located at Hutton Lane near Nagore Square and it will be soft-opening on 26th September 2019. You will be happy to know that they’re giving away free drinks too!

We all love free stuff, and if you’re a hardcore bubble tea fan, this is for you! The Monarch Tea is giving away free drinks for early birds in conjunction with the new opening. It will be happening for seven days, from 26th September to 2nd October 2019. Remember, only 50 cups of drinks will be given out each day and for dine-in customers only. so make sure you head down early!
