If you can recall, Kazan by The Volcano used to be at Queensbay Mall before they had to cease operations due to the pandemic. Well if you miss their pocket cheese toasts a little too much, then good news! The Kazan will be reopening soon at Lebuh Victoria!
The Kazan by Is Making A Comeback In Penang With A Beautiful Interior
We’re sure you remember The Kazan by The Volcano, right? They are known for being the first in Penang to serve stretchy pocket cheese toasts. Essentially, Pocket Toasts are stuffed to the edge with fillings such as cheese, milk cream, and even fruits!

Kazan was established in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and previously, they have opened the first Malaysia outlet right here in our humble island of Penang.

However, the pandemic does not discriminate, The Kazan fell victim and was forced to cease operations. Since then, they continued to offer pocket toasts to avid lovers via delivery from home.

Recently, we just got the news that they are set to reopen with a new store in George Town. If you have always been there with The Kazan since its good old Queensbay Mall days, then we know you’re here to stay.
The Kazan has relocated to Lebuh Victoria, Penang and this outlet boasts a simple, no-fuss industrial-themed interior. So you’ll get to enjoy stretchy pocket cheese toasts or filled-to-the-edge fruits toast comfortably in their minimalist space.
