Beginning at 12 AM, Penang, and 5 other states will be undergoing MCO 2.0 for 2 weeks until 26th January. This is because the number of new cases in Penang is constantly on the rise. Yesterday, The Body Shop Gurney Plaza store released a statement that there 1 team member has tested positive for COVID-19.
1 Confirmed Case At The Body Shop, Gurney Plaza
According to the statement on its official Facebook page, the team member last reported to work on the 3rd of January 2021. Upon receiving the heavy news, the store has been immediately closed for thorough sanitisation works.
At the same time, all staff members at this store will also be undergoing testing and quarantine. The Body Shop is also working closely with public health officials in conducting contact tracing.
