TGI Fridays At Queensbay Mall Visited By A Customer Who Was Later Tested Positive

Hello foodies. If you have been keeping up with the news, there has been a spike in the COVID-19 cases here in Malaysia. In fact, Malaysia has recorded the highest number yesterday since the pandemic hit us with a staggering 1240 new cases. To fight against this pandemic, we each have the responsibility to abide by the SOPs that were put in place.

TGI Fridays Closed Down For Sanitisation Works

Here in Penang, there are also new clusters and an increment in the number of active cases. Today, Queensbay Mall has confirmed that a customer in TGI Fridays has tested positive. The said customer has visited the restaurant on 23rd October 2020 and has subsequently been tested COVID-19 positive.

As part of the precautionary measures, the restaurant has closed from today onwards for deep cleaning and thorough sanitisation of its premises in accordance with guidelines from the health authorities.Ā Additionally, in the official statement by Queensbay Mall, the mall will remain open as usual and urges the public to abide by the safety measures.
