Superheroes Doing Their Job
Handing out bubur lambuk during Ramadan is nothing out of the ordinary. However, these people stole the spotlights with their otherworldly costumes. Thanks to these superheroes and cartoon characters, road users of Sungai Dua, Butterworth, was obviously amused. The sight of Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Spiderman, Power Rangers, and Garfield handing out bubur lambuk is definitely not something that you can see every day.
Mohamad Syukur MohdPatthi, 26, collaborated with ‘Geng Superhero Penang’ said that they come with the idea to entertain the public. Evidently most people are growing weary of the current situation. Thus in need something different to light up their days.
450 Bags Of Bubur Lambuk Distributed
“We dressed up as mascots and superheroes to distribute bubur lambuk and cheer up the public.” Everyone is getting used to the new norm and they want help as much as possible. Starting from 5 pm yesterday, they had already distributed 450 bags of bubur lambuk to passerby.
“Most of the road users took the opportunity to record them in action using their mobile phones,” he continued. Meanwhile, these characters were found at Pasar Malam Alma, Bukit Mertajam, handing out bubur lambuk there as well.
