In early 2020, some Penangites were not able to go to work as the government only allows essential workers to head back to the office. One of the many people that were affected by this arrangement was Evelyn. Bored at home, her husband had decided to purchase an oven for her to learn how to bake. Slowly but surely, her love for baking grew, especially the process of making tarts.

While it started as a hobby, it slowly became a business with many family and friends wanting to try out her homemade tarts. Through word of mouth, strangers started making orders and before she knows it, it becomes a fruitful business. As the business blossoms, the online business transitions into a brick-and-mortar business. It is now located on the second floor of Soul Cafe.

Made with love, it took some time to create the perfect crust for the tarts. Over a period of time, Evelyn has experimented with different ratios of ingredients until she had found one that was a little crispy but melts in the mouth at the same time. It now offers a wide range of flavours such as Original, Mochi, Durian, Tiramisu, and even Taro.
