In Penang, there are a few notable burger joints serving up gourmet burgers. Gourmet burgers are burgers made with fresh patties and fresh ingredients. Meaning, you’ll get to savour what a true burger actually tastes like. Today’s focus will be solely on Rics Burger with a humble beginning.
Rics Burger in Penang began its operations back in 2013 at Bayan Baru serving their only specialty; pork burgers. Before operating from a humble store, Rics Burger merely sold burgers at the night markets around Penang. Fast forward 7 years later, they’ve expanded to a second outlet with more burger options for all of us.
Rics Burger’s new outlet at Tanjung Tokong, Penang is spacious and boasts a ceiling-to-floor glass window that’s perfect for snapping some burger pictures.
The menu at Rics Burger is really vast ranging from Original Pork Burger to Super Mario, and all the way to The Little Catch. A majority of the burgers come with pork patty but if you prefer something else, then you can try out ‘The Little Catch’. It comes with a slice of fried fish fillet which is crispy on the outside yet juicy on the inside.
For Your Dose Of Burger Cravings
Aside from the burgers, you can also opt for their Combos which come with either Soft Drink or American Iced Tea. Then, pick from either Rics Fries, Dried Bacon Strips or Spam Fries. The dried Bacon Strips or Spam Fries are perfect companies for the burgers as they all add a sense of crunchiness to the overall burger experience.
