Penang Yosakoi Parade Is The Biggest In Malaysia
Yes, you haven’t read it wrong when we say this is the biggest Yosakoi event in Malaysia. Well, it could actually be the biggest Yosakoi street event in the whole of Southeast Asia! With up to 1000 parade participants and attracting more than 10,000 people every year, shall we take a look at what they have to offer this year?
Yosakoi, which literally means ‘Come at Night’ is a unique dance style that originates from Japan. Moreover, there’s going to be more than 8 kinds of activities for you to participate in! Ready? Here’s the list of things you can do. Join their Olympic Parade, Japanese Carnival Games, Mizukake Mikoshi, Artisan Craft Bazaar, Charity Sales, Open Picnic International Food, Cosplayers and a Fun Run! It’s a long list, right? Well, that’s not to worry because you’ve got plenty of time until 11PM to enjoy these!
