Penang Hill Is Reopening Its Funicular Trains To Tourists Starting Today

Hello, foodies! Penang is a little island that has made its name for delicious street food and jaw-dropping scenery. Ever since the implementation of MCO, Penang has shut its borders and close down recreational parks. This also included the iconic Penang Hill. However, starting from today onwards, Penang Hill is reopening its funicular trains to tourists! So, if you ever need a quiet place to rejuvenate yourself from the busy week, you know where you go!

Penang Hill Funicular Trains Returns And Open Its Doors To Tourists

City lifestyles and busy schedules, time passes in a blink of an eye and you’ve got no time to relax. If you’re indeed finding a place to step back from your usual day and dive into nature, here’s exciting news for you! Starting from today, Penang Hill is reopening its doors to tourists and hikers. The best part is, the iconic funicular trains that overlook the city is back in operation!

Starting as early as 6:30AM, the funicular train service runs until late at night. With plenty of time for you to enjoy the beautiful views and connect with nature, just remember that the last train leaves at 11PM from the top! While we can now go back to the iconic Penang Hill, all customers have to still strict SOPs and wear face masks at all times. Other than that, enjoy the fantastic scenery with your family and friends.
