The very first new thing that we got up our sleeves is a FROZEN 2 themed wonderland happening in Sunway Carnival Mall Penang. If you love Walt Disney’s FROZEN, then this is your chance to witness Anna, Elsa and Olaf come to life. Take part in the mysterious mazes, snap a selfie with Olaf and end your enchanting journey by shopping for some exclusive FROZEN 2 merchandises. The FROZEN 2 themed land is happening from now till the 1st of December only so make your way there this coming weekend!

Without a doubt, everyone loves McDonald’s. It’s like our go-to fast food joint to get a quick Sundae fix, or perhaps go all the way with their McValue Set Meals. This time around, McDonald’s collaborated with Nestum and Oreo to create something really special. Make your pick among the Nestum McFlurry, Cookies & Cream Pie with Oreo bits and if you love all things chocolate, then the Hershey’s Double Chocolate Oreo McFlurry is a must-try.  Jio your friends too kay?

Ever wondered what it would be like to have your childhood favourite treats elevated in a unique way? Gao Enough does exactly that as their latest bizarre creations Haw Flakes Smoothie and Laksa Tea broke the internet. We all certainly remember savouring Haw Flakes and slurping on Laksa noodles but having them in the form of drinks? 4. Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park

Penang is our favourite island because it’s a tiny island that’s packed with good food and also luscious greenery! With our brand new public park, Sia Boey, now open to everyone, we can get one step closer to mother nature. Siao Boey essentially consists of Prangin Canal that’s filled with koi fishes, as well as a playground for kids! So if you’re looking to chill and unwind from the bustles of daily life,  then Sia Boey is your go-to place this weekend.

5. Mercato Supermarket

Fellow shoppers, there’s a new supermarket in town, to be specific, in Gurney Plaza. Mercato is a premium supermarket that replaces Cold Storage. Mercato offers exclusive items such as freshly baked bread that are low in GI, potted herbs with a longer shelf life and many more. Besides that, you can also enjoy fried ice cream as well as freshly squeezed pomegranate juice! There’s really no shopping experience like that offered by Mercato.

6. IKEA Bakery

When we talk about bakeries in Penang, there aren’t many that immediately comes to mind. But if you’re looking to satiate your tastebuds when it comes to fresh bread, then you’ll be delighted to know that IKEA has just opened a new bakery! Yup, our favourite Swedish furniture store specialising in tasty meatballs and froyo is now expanding their wings over to the bread zone. It’s Malaysia’s first-ever IKEA Bakery whereby you can stock up on Swedish baked items such as cinnamon buns, baguettes, and more!
