Just recently opened, Penang is adding a new study spot and it’s Butterworth Digital Library!
A New Digital Library In Butterworth That’s Worth A Visit
There are two kinds of readers in this world. One who bury their head in a book and another, who opt for a lighter and digitalised option. If you’re indeed the latter one, then get ready to jump out of excitement! In addition to the Penang Digital Library, Butterworth welcomes a whole new digital library that comes with an event hall, 4 discussion rooms and more!
Located in Kampung Benggali, the Butterworth Digital Library is an RM7 million project initiated by the Penang State Government. Originally a market and badminton court, this 3 story-building has beautifully transformed into a modern and relaxing spot. Featuring an event hall that fits 200 pax, 4 discussion rooms, 1 kids area, 1 multipurpose room and 4 computers, you can easily spend an afternoon here.
A Cafe Will Be Joining Soon
On top of the exciting news, a cafe will be added to the Butterworth Digital Library soon too! So if you’re tired of studying or just crave for some coffee, you can easily get your cuppa here. Now that you know this, make sure to call your friends and let them know about a new meeting spot!
