Detailed Route From Setia Greens to Carpet Hill Glasshouse:
Carpet Hill is no stranger to many especially to hikers and mountain bikers, they adore the trails. That’s because the pathway to the top is made up of mostly cement trails and tarred roads. The view along the way up is just magnificent, especially during the evening.
For those of you who didn’t know, there’s a beautiful glasshouse built on Carpet Hill. Located at a higher point from the top, get there by evening and you’ll be blessed with a panoramic view! Do note that Carpet Hill Glasshouse is a private property but the owner is kind enough to open it to the public, so please take good care of it.
To get there is a bit tedious, but thankfully this netizen that goes by the name of 培荣 on Facebook shared a detailed trail. Starting off at Setia Greens, the journey takes about 2 hours for a round trip, sounds pretty easy right?
Your view on the way up would be mainly greens, with a few houses and properties along the trail. Take note of tiny signboards here and there to make sure you’re on the right track. According to him, the distance is about 6-7 km up and down.
Follow the trail and soon you’ll be greeted with a beautiful glasshouse and magnificent view overlooking Balik Pulau/Bayan Lepas! if you’re looking for a place to hike, Carpet Hill is a great choice.
