It’s that time of the day when you finish your meal and you’re finding something sweet in your fridge. For some of us, a few mouthfuls of chocolate bar will close the deal. However, there are others who want something more. If you are indeed nodding to the latter one, here is something sweet and easy to make! Ready? Turn Your Milo Powder And Bread Into A Rich Tiramisu

Let’s agree, savoury and sweet come in a pair. After lunch or dinner, we just automatically reach out to the fridge and search for something sweet. While a simple snack can satisfy those cravings, there are times where you want a fancy dessert, right? Fret not, today we will be sharing an exciting recipe to turn Milo powder and bread into a rich chocolate tiramisu! Without further ado, shall we get started?

Ingredients

  • 200ml of milk
  • 5 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 40g of sugar
  • 30g of Milo powder

Step 1: Begin by preheating the oven to 180°C.

Step 2: In a bowl, mix together the milk and eggs. Add in sugar and Milo powder. Stir well and sieve once.

Step 3: Cut all 4 sides of the bread and remove the crust. Then, cut the bread in half.

Step 4: In a ceramic dish, place a layer of bread and pour half the Milo mixture over it. (Make sure the mixture doesn’t overflow the bread)

Step 5: Repeat this for another layer.

Step 6: Place the ceramic dish into the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it cool. Then, sprinkle with more Milo powder and it’s done!

Easy and doesn’t leave a huge mess, you’ll be surprised that this recipe takes only 30 minutes to complete! Moreover, it’s up to you to make this a simple chocolate tiramisu or a fancy one. If fancy is what you go for, here’s what you can do. Add some instant coffee into the Milo mixture and pour it on the bread layers. Now you have a dessert that is the best in both worlds!
