It is true that not all heroes wear capes. They are often disguised to be a regular person you may have bumped across in your daily life. Read on, and you will find that kindness in humanity exists if you only look a little closer. Today, we found it in this kind-hearted Uncle over at USM, Penang.
Uncle Buys Lunch For Frontliners At USM Despite Being Laughed At
This incident took place in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang. An uncle dressed in pink Polo-T, white khaki shorts, and a pair of Crocs arrived at USM Penang for his vaccination. But as he made his way towards the counter, he received stares and scornful snickers from those around him.
Reason? He was wearing his own rendition of a bizarre face shield; a plastic bag. Despite being made fun of for his precautions, Uncle turned out to be a gold-hearted person with nothing but good intentions.
Soon after receiving his jab, he made his way over to the Secretariat and said, “The frontliners have been working very hard. Please buy them lunch,” as he handed over a large sum of cash.
This kind-hearted act shocked those around him as who knew that the Uncle in pink with a plastic bag face shield could turn out to be an angel in disguise? Well, this is just one of those bolt from the blue instances that restore our faith in humanity.
