But today, we’re gonna be talking about our neighbour, Kedah. In fact, they have just opened their very own Digital Library that’s unique we need to let you guys know. So, keep reading.
A Library Smack Right In The Garden: Kedah Digital Library
The Digital Library in Kedah had just opened its doors to the public yesterday. What’s unique about this new facility in Kedah is that it’s built based on a garden concept. So, what you’ll get here is a walk into the woods filled with plenty of trees but turns out, it’s a public library. Super cool right?
Almost similar to the one we have here in Penang, the Kedah Digital Library has ample of comfortable study tables and chairs. The interior is pretty modern-looking too. Additionally, the library has a high-speed internet connection, a private room for group discussions, a Virtual Reality class, e-books, and more.
Did you know that RM15 Million was allocated for the establishment of Kedah Digital Library? It’s located in Alor Setar, and to be specific, in Taman Jubli Perak. So the next time you’re looking to bury your nose in a book, you can do it in the soothing environment of a park.
If you’re more towards a digitalized reader, then you’ll most definitely enjoy a trip to Kedah Digital Library and bask in the thousands of e-books. Of course, the best part is that you get to relax and take a quick relaxing stroll in the garden too.
