Great news peeps, we’re so excited to share with you that Ippudo Ramen is finally opening in Gurney Plaza! Before this, Ippudo was only available in Kuala Lumpur out of the whole Malaysia. Editor tried it a few years back and since then, never stop praying it’ll come to Penang. Now the wait is over, Penangites, time to swim over to Ippudo Gurney Plaza!

You sort of heard the news from social media around May that Ippudo Gurney Plaza is opening soon in July, but no exact date was told. Fret not, we’re here to tell you, Ippudo Gurney Plaza is opening on the 2nd of July 2018! That’s like two weeks from now? Bonus, it’s located at G floor, thank us later.

Those who have tasted it will never forget about its rich, aromatic broth. The springy noodles and perfect soft-boiled egg? Don’t get us started about it. The combination just goes so well together, and you know finding a good bowl of ramen in Penang is a pain.

Those who have not especially if you’re a Penangite, please head over to Ippudo Gurney Plaza ASAP. Queue, wait, do whatever it takes to taste it because it won’t disappoint. Other than ramen, we heard they’ll be launching a new bar snacks menu. More reasons to drool over Ippudo Gurney Plaza!
