Have you noticed how Penang has been welcoming new openings lately? First, we have Krispy Kreme at Gurney Plaza and then we have KL’s famous ZUS Coffee. The most recent addition to Penang’s F&B scene is yet another renowned eatery from KL. Gravy Baby will be opening its first-ever Penang outlet at Chulia Street.
Gravy Baby: Serving Soon In Penang
What’s Gravy Baby, you ask? Well, Gravy Baby is distinct for its unique, fancy exterior that’s very welcoming. If you ask us, we’d say it leans towards a Broadway musical exterior design.

Of course, aside from its captivating exterior, their menu is equally enticing too. Gravy Baby Pies’ UK renowned chef personally handcrafts its menu to feature some tried and tested cocktails as well as pies.

For the pies, you can expect to try out some classic ones such as the Creamy Fish Pie, Lamb Shepherd’s Pie, Braised Steak and Ale, and many more. They also have Gourmet Breakfasts, Sandwiches and Wraps, Burgers, Pizza and Pasta, and Steaks. In fact, those are not even their entire full menu.

Gravy Baby has numerous outlets in KL including at Changkat Bukit Bintang P.Ramlee, and Bukit Damansara. They have also expanded to Melaka and now, it’s time they conquer our beloved Penang.

Who’s Excited For This?
According to their official Instagram post, this is just the first out of 5 outlets that will soon open its doors in Penang. Make way for the first Penang Gravy Baby outlet along the bustling Chulia Street, just opposite of FamilyMart!
They’ve hinted that they wish to welcome Penangites in a month so who’s ready for this?
