Miss traveling? Take a trip down to Esplanade and surround yourself with beautiful lighted sculptures from all over the world. These sculptures mimic iconic landmarks and monumental buildings, each representing a country.

According to State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin, with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and travel restrictions, these activities are crucial to help boost domestic tourism and sustain the industry in Penang.

Find sculptures that light up during the night like Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China and more! There’s also 12 sets of zodiac signs, so bring your friends and family along for some bonding time. Bring your kids along to tour around and name these sculptures one by one, wouldn’t that be fun and educational?

These sculptures are currently about 70% completed. Good news, we heard Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is expected to officiate the launching ceremony on April 27!
