As a fairly new Ramen spot in Penang, Kakuriyo has slurped its way to the hearts of many Ramen lovers. Located in one of the shophouses in Pulau Tikus, this is a cozy spot with only 10-15 tables serving Tonkotsu Ramen and several side dishes. Personally, we think the Ramen here is slurping good, right from its al-dente noodles to its tender melt-in-your-mouth Charsiu as well as its umami-packed broth. While you’re there, also try their side dishes like Tori Nanban and Korokke.

Menya Miyabi originated from Japan with over 4 branches in the land of the rising sun, they came to Penang to open up another 2 branches. We’re so blessed to be able to have a taste of their Yaki-Miso Ramen that has received the praises of many. Its broth is so yummy to the point of brimming with flavours, and don’t even get me started on the noodles, perfectly al-dente ramen noodles. A perfectly curated bowl of goodness garnished with runny braised egg and juicy sliced meat, we can’t wait to slurp on them so what about you?
