Batu Lanchang Market Food Court To Close For 1 Week After Reporting 3 Positive Cases

Today, Malaysia reported a new high with 6000+ new cases. This means that the pandemic situation is at its critical stage. Just 2 days ago, Jelutong Market in Penang was closed down after reporting 4 positive COVID-19 cases. Today, Batu Lanchang Market Food Court has announced that it will be closing for 1 week.

Batu Lanchang Market Food Court Will Be Closed For 1 Week

The main reason for closure is that the food court reported 3 positive cases among the hawkers as of today, 19th May 2021. Additionally, this closure is a voluntary one with the safety of the public and the hawkers themselves in mind.
