Aromas Cafe seems to be sitting aloofy at 4th Street Club, Tye Sin Street Penang. 4th Street Club is a newly opened spick-and-span shop lots. Walking along this street, you would spot Aromas Cafe in no time. Its whitewashed and somewhat retro building draws our attention to this cafe. However, the menu here is rather limited and mediocre.

Firstly, it has a really nice exterior that is pleasant to the eyes, especially for minimalist. Its white door and walls, marble tiles, black table and chair make a perfect spot for a #ootd photograph.

What we love: whitewashed wall and captivating interior design. We appreciated the owners’ effort in designing its interior. They had definitely spent some thoughts and efforts by embedding rustic charm in it.

Aromas Cafe PenangFurthermore, you wouldn’t feel the hustle and bustle here, an ideal spot for a weekend excursion. One of the most notable points is, you don’t have to worry about capacity, the cafe is pretty big and has plentiful of seating.

Aromas Cafe prides itself as a new dessert cafe in Georgetown serving wholesome food & rich decadent cheesecakes. And guess what, we are pretty sure the owners love rubik’s cube as you can easily spot different kinds of rubik’s cube on every table.

During our visit, we ordered carbonara, tom yum fried rice, caramel latte and earl grey tea.

Speaking about the food, the carbonara and tom yum fried rice were middle of the road and uninspired. The tom yum fried rice was cooked pretty badly, the tom yum paste wasn’t done right with the rice. Moreover, the carbonara tasted bland and dry.
