Creative, Adorable Handmade Baos & Mantous

First, let’s introduce Mrs. Sandra Ho, the founder of this humble yet uniquely creative mantou venture. After Mr. Kok passed away, Mrs. Sandra had to carry the breadwinner’s responsibility upon herself by managing their souvenir business. Shortly after, she decided to work as a part-timer at a supermarket as a saleslady.

As health is the main concern in the family, Mrs. Sandra started making her own mantous to replace white bread. Selling her handmade mantous to close friends and family, one of them suggested to Mrs. Sandra to sell them at the morning market. Heeding the advice, this tiny business started blooming as they find mantous being sold out in seconds.

Soon after, an Instagram page was set up to showcase the creative mantous. The business was named after the family name, Ho in hopes that it will provide a taste of home to all customers. Aho Bun’s business took off steadily during MCO as they sold them on vegetarian food platforms as well as other food delivery platforms.
