Who could say no to juicy and crispy XXL fried chicken? Definitely, not us! Founded by Taiwanese comedian Nono, Monga Fried Chicken that serves one of the best Taiwanese Fried Chicken has finally landed in Penang!

Their signature fried chicken cutlets are offered in four flavours here such as The King, Hot Chick, Taiker (seaweed seasoning) and Chee-Z Signature. Moreover, they also serve a myriad of Taiwanese snacks to satisfy your snack cravings. Fries, fried broccoli, fried mushroom, popcorn chicken and even bubble milk tea, you name it, they’ve got it!

Operating in a heritage building at Lebuh Prangin, Carnarvon is a dessert cafe that will surround with nice ambience. With its Old brick walls, retro floor tiles, and rustic furnishing, every corner looks so on point with a sense of nostalgia. Their menu covers the basic grounds but it is done perfectly, highlighting their cakes that are very delicious and picture-worthy.

4. Born 16 Soft Serve

Born 16 Soft Serve has successfully stepped up their aesthetic game with its new Instagram-worthy glasshouse. While the glasshouse is beautiful, its dreamy snow ice and bubble tea steamboat make it a must-visit. You’ll get your sweet dessert served in a traditional steamboat pot where the dry ice fuming out from the centre of the pot for a bit of theatrics and mystique. And guess what? It’s Insta-story time!
