The taste of the soup is just perfect to hit the satisfaction spot, worth every penny you’re spending! Remember to opt for some chicken legs and chicken innards – liver, gizzard and intestines.

Well-known for its handmade traditional bamboo-pressed noodles, people flock to this place just to have a glimpse of the process of making the noodles so springy! Let me tell you, this place right here serves the best churros in the whole Penang! Not even kidding! Churros have long been the reason why people flock to this place! Even though the amount of customers they have over the years has increased but they continued to serve really amazing churros with sides like salted-caramel, cinnamon and chocolate! Their aromatic coffee goes super well with their churros!

Known for their aesthetically pleasing yet cosy ambience, and topped up with their really amazing nice Japanese-infused food, this is just perfect for lunch after the whole morning of walking around. Whether you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine, coffee, or desserts you are bound to find something you love in this place. Do try out their Omu Curry Rice with Tori Karaage, saying no to this fluffy omelette and mildly-spicy Japanese Curry would be too hard. Just say yes!

Once you step into the place, you’ll notice that the inside is actually very long with 3 connected areas, right after the entrance is the drinks counter with a couple of tables filled up with a variety of cakes to choose from. Do take note that they serve alcohol-infused cakes too! Their serene garden features a small pond on one side, so maybe you can go over there to chill!

13. Narrow Marrow

This place could’ve been easily missed by most people, squished between two senescent shop houses in busy Carnarvon Street, Narrow Marrow exudes chic yet relaxed ambience and vibes. The diversity of their cakes will surely make you spoiled for choice! But, we do recommend trying out their tiramisu cake in natural clitoria blue!
