Dinner with a view is what this place offers. Northam Beach is located by the seaside and its open air. There are various stalls for you to choose from such as Char Koay Teow, Curry Mee, grilled seafood with local sauces and many more. You can even try the traditional handmade peanut candy. This peanut candy is also known as ‘kacang tumbuk’ or ‘kong th’ng’ (in Hokkien).

If you’re staying in the Tanjong Bungah area and you’re too lazy to travel, don’t worry because Viva Local Food Haven got you covered. You will still be able to enjoy the local favorites without traveling so far because traveling can be exhausting. There are various selections and you will most likely want to try everything.

When we say that this place has everything, it literally has EVERYTHING. You won’t have to worry about missing out on any Penang delicacies because you will most likely be able to find it. You name it, they will probably have it. You will be able to try the peanut candy here as well but you’ll have to be quick because it sells out pretty quickly.

Supertanker has been around for quite a while now and it’s one of the locals’ favorite spots. They have a wide selection of food for you to choose from. Don’t miss out on the famous Aki pancake, Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Mee, Satay and many more.

Satisfy your Penang food cravings at Sin Kim San, a spot that is famous for their Char Koay Teow and Curry Fish Head. If you’re a lover of spicy food, give the curry fish head a try and you won’t regret it. Don’t forget to try the barbequed chicken and grilled seafood as well.

If you’re walking around the George Town area, drop by and try the Char Koay Teow and Koay Chiap here. You may have to queue up for both of these stalls because they are quite famous but it’s definitely worth it. Accompany your meal with a bowl of Tong Sui to make your meal complete.

You will be able to experience the full hawker stall scene when you’re here. Stalls are being set up by the side of the road and you will have to be quick to pick a spot to seat because tables and chairs are quite limited here. Don’t let that problem stop you from coming here though because the Wan Tan Mee and Curry Mee are definitely worth a try.

It’s located right opposite Gurney Drive seaside where you can take a stroll and burn those calories after dinner.
