With so many tourist attractions around George Town, it is always a good idea to stay in the heart of the city. There are so many hotels to choose from. It is about to get harder. We have stumbled upon a Facebook Post of a newly renovated hotel. Residing in a classy heritage building, Modern Hotel is definitely Instagram-worthy with classy black and white interiors!
Hello there, Modern Hotel!
According to the official Facebook Post, the newly renovated hotel is grand opening today (14th January 2020). Scrolling the photographs, we cannot get enough of the posh black and white interiors. It appears that the exterior has the same style, with white walls and grey details all over. Okay, it is the inside that counts. Let’s jump in! Stepping in, you will notice the reception area is beautifully tiled with everything labeled in tasteful fonts.
The staircase is another Instagram spot. Keeping its true heritage form, it appears that it has been refurbished with a layer of black paint. Additionally, there’s also a wall with different items painted in white attached. You will find some travel and hotel items here. The Instagram-worthy wall is accompanied by a seat in the middle, just in case you need a snap!
Now, let’s talk about hotel rooms. The bedrooms have the same style as the rest of the hotel. It looks considerably spacious. As it is located in a heritage building, you will notice that the windows are old fashioned. The mixture of old and new looks really good. Of course, it is hard to miss out on the gorgeous bathroom with standalone bathtubs. What a dream!

As today is the grand opening date, Modern Hotel is now available for booking. Strategically located at Jalan Muntri, this street is packed with good food to eat.
