World’s Longest Water Slide is Opening at Escape Theme Park this August!

You heard that right, our favourite water theme park is adding a new fun ride! Escape Theme Park keeps getting better, and now they’re adding a new ride which is set to be the longest water slide in the world! Proud Penangites where ya at? Keep reading to find out the full deets!

World’s Longest Water Slide at Escape Theme Park:

Measuring 1,140m long, the water slide is already 80 per cent complete. They’re expected to be ready by the month of August 2019. That’s less than 2 months away, save the date people. Sim Choo Keng, Escape Theme Park’s chief executive officer confirmed that the water slide will be longer than the water slide in New Jersey, USA, which is 602m long.

What’s more, the water slide might even go into the Guinness Book of Records! Visitors will slide down from the hilltop and cross Jalan Teluk Bahang to the suspension bridge and end up at the water theme park. Don’t worry, safety measures, security and checks will be carried out before the launch, your safety is their priority.

Bonus: A 400m long cable car ride with 30 seats would also be completed at the same time as the water slide. Think of the view you will get when it goes through the jungle.
