Hello, foodies! We love Penang food and that’s why we always talk about them. But this time around, we’re giving you an update on something exciting that is going to happen in Penang. To make it easier for the public to get all government services under one roof, the Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) is opening soon at Komtar. How soon? Well, as soon as July or August!

UTC With 15 Government Agencies Sets To Open In July Or August

There are times we have to visit a few government agencies to do some payments. Be it related to the Road Transport Department (JPJ) or Tenaga Nasional (TN). Just the thought of driving from a spot to another is already tiring. While other states like Perak or Johor has all these government services under a roof at UTC, this time, Penang is welcoming it too!

Originally set to be completed by March 2, this RM10.38million federal project is set to open in July or August. If you’re wondering where it’s located, it’s nonetheless at the tallest landmark we have at the heart of Georgetown, Komtar. On top of that, here is the list of government agencies you can find at UTC Penang:

• Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN)
• National Registration Department
• Road Transport Department (JPJ)
• Tenaga Nasional Bhd
• National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN)
• Information Department
• Women, Family and Community Development Ministry
• Royal Malaysia Police and health clinic by the Health Ministry
• Ministry of Entrepreneur Development
• Public Services Commission
• Jobs Malaysia
