This new café in Penang has successfully stepped up their aesthetic game with its Instagram-worthy interior- pinkly furnished and minimalist classy, perfect for you to step up your Instagram by taking some #ootds or foodporn. It’s also a homey haven for brunch lovers and coffee enthusiasts. With their menu full of crowd-pleasers like their Thai Phat Phet, aglio e olio and to-die-for pastries, no matter it’s a sunny or a rainy day, there’s nowhere better to hang out with friends with a cuppa.

2. Old Master Nanyang Cafe
Don’t expect glamour, as this is an old-school greasy spoon at its best. Originated from Taiping, this is a traditional café where wooden tables, phoenix cloud teacups and good thick coffee supreme. But wait, this café ain’t just that! Serving simplicity with a twist, they offer a fusion of old and new coffee cultures. Despite being a relatively new bubble milk tea joint in Penang, Venzytea has never stop stealing the spotlight ever since its establishment this August. The good news is they just opened their second store in Sunway Carnival Mall! Friends from mainland no longer need to travel across the bridge to have a taste of their smooth milk tea. All are freshly brewed and they experiment with flavour combinations and toppings like no other. Their tapioca pearls as the star of the show are all freshly cooked, with none brought in.
